Notice that it says "AT" home, not of the home. How can you be keepers at home if you're not AT home? Leaving the home for an occupation is blaspheming the word of God according to Titus 2:4-5. We live in a sad state in this day and age, where people no longer want to be home, but prefer leaving their children or home to be taken care of by someone else.

We are living in a world that pushes women to "go out" and succeed...at something other than that which the Lord made them for. How sad that families in America are deteriorating and it all started when women went to work.
"Proverbs 14:1 Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands."
"Proverbs 31:27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness."
The Bible makes it very clear that the MEN are to be the provider...
"Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."
"Proverbs 28:19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough."
"Proverbs 13:18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured."
"1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel."
Our purpose in life as women is to be wives and mothers...
"1 Timothy 5:14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully."
"1 Timothy 2:15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety."
Somehow our focus has gotten off our God ordained vocation, in which there is true happiness, joy and blessings. It has turned to a self-gratifying, me-oriented outside the home vocation seeking focus. All of which is linked to the explosion of feminism and women entering the workforce.

We shouldn't be authorized to do what God made us to do? We shouldn't have that "choice" because too many of us might choose it? A housewife is an illegitimate profession? And yet these are the women who have shaped our culture.

And now today we are a society dedicated to watching the children of women who should be at home taking care of them.
"Proverbs 6:20 My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:"
"Deuteronomy 6:6-7 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."
How can we do a good job of teaching them the law (the Bible) if we're not at home with them? How can we obey Deut 6:6-7, if we are not home with them at all those times?
How can we as mothers, be OK with someone else instilling their values and beliefs into our children? God gave us OUR children for US to raise. If he had wanted that "babysitter" or daycare worker to raise your children don't you think He would have given the children to THEM?
Let's quit blaspheming God's word and be Keepers AT Home!
