Frogs, snails, puppy dog tails....BOYS!

I happen to LOVE my boys! ALOT! I do not however particularly enjoy their fascination with such gross things! They love to catch spiders, snakes, frogs, turtles, etc... They take particular delight in scaring me with them too! :D So I thought I'd share some pictures of all their "catches"! Hope you enjoy!!!

Your boys would get along with my boys just wonderfully! They are always catching things, trapping things or shooting things. However, I'm not as nice as you, I didn't let them put the snake in an aquarium. I made them leave it alone and let it go kill some mice, yuck! Just yesterday they tried to talk me into rescuing some bird eggs they found on the ground and last night they found a baby mouse and put it in our barn in a "safe" place. They discovered this morning that it didn't survive. Always an adventure with boys!

The picture of the spider in the web was AMAZING!

The long snake looks like a king snake. Is it?

Awesome catch on the armadillo. They are hard to trap and very aggressive. We had one burrow under our house recently.

Love the rifle. My boys want to know what kind it is. They hunt with a 223.

You can tell that I live in the country too! LOL

I know these yuckies make us cringe. Really, they do. But inside I am so proud of mine for some bizarre reason when they catch something!

Are your daughters into creepy-crawlies? My only daughter is 4 and she will pick up anything? Will she outgrow this? Not that it really matters that much, just wondering. :)

@Rashel~ Yes life with boys is definitely an adventure! Mice is the only thing I will not let them keep. I make them kill 'em. We have mice in our house and I abhor them! Everything else, I don't mind them catching as long as they don't come in the house!

@Elizabeth~ Those spiders the boys caught like 10 of them and re-homed them to my porch. Those things traumatized me last year! :P Yes I do believe that is a king snake. Sometimes the armadillos are very fast, but a lot of the time they just sit there. Jason actually kicked one to get it to go away once! The gun James Michael got for his birthday. It's actually a .22/.410. The barrel switches out, very cool! I do hate all the creepy crawlies, but I am proud in a way too. :D I'm the one who takes all the pictures! My girls like to look, but mostly they don't touch. I think Madison is the only one who will touch anything really. She's 9 so I don't know if they'll outgrow it! LOL

ewww...LOL! The Lord has blessed me with only one son but I love the BOY-ishness he oozes. I never even noticed many things in like until I had my eyes opened with my son.
